NIS 2006 Upgrade!

    Has anyone upgraded from NIS2007 to NIS 2008?I got a call from a friend that said Norton was giving him a free upgrade to the newest version.I ask him if he had to run the removal tool first and he said no!I thought that was strange.He ran into all kinds of problems with the newer version and had to delete it.Has anyone tried this upgrade without running the removal tool first?He reinstalled his 2007 again and had quite a time getting his antivirus updates.o_O

    I upgraded from NIS 2007 to 2008 without running the removal tool, and everything is running fine. When I upgraded from 2006 to 2007, I had some issues, so I uninstalled, ran the removal tool, then reinstalled, and everything was fine after that.
