NIS 1.0 on win 98 SE

    CROSS-POST This is a cross-posting of a post in the NIS File Check Q&A forum, so only one response is necessary or desired.

    There's a guy over in the USENET newsgroup, comp.security.firewalls, trying to install NIS 1.0 on Win 98 SE but he's having some problems getting the product enabled after doing so. Apparently, Symantec no longer offers the update to NIS 1.01 on LiveUpdate, so he may need to know what the correct file version/hash, etc., should be for the supplementary files.

    PM me if you've got any assistance to offer on this subject.
