Nice little bug in Avira

    Avira has a nice little bug wherein, under the right circumstances, excluding does not work. If you exclude and then use right click scan of a file, or a drive, the object is excluded. However, if you do a profile scan that runs on a schedule, or that you just choose to do, and a process is running that is connected to an exclusion the file that is excluded will be be deleted anyway (if you have it on automatic rather than interactive). At present, you cannot define exclusions for processes that Luke Filewalker scans. Interesting bug. Here's the thread:

    "This should be fixed for the next release. That would be at the beginning of September." :D
