    o_O The 'Latest News' with dateline 10th Jan, 2007 announced the release of the above version in some languages other than English.

    The latest version is 2.7 (2.70.2x) . There is no difference between 2.70.23 and 2.70.25/26/28 ... no difference in protection so there is no need of new English version

    Yep, the different numbers indicate different compilations. E.g. if a translator finds some strings truncated, we amend it and make another compilation which rises the verison number. The point is to look at the first 2 numbers 2.70 which are same for all installers.
