Good Morning! Like Triple Helix...I'm extremely upset with New Egg's Marketing Segmentation...and Geographical Exclusion Policies. I'm in Canada and New Egg has a Canadian Website and All Of These Black Friday...Cyber Monday...Xmas Offers don't include the market that should benefit from these offers. If not...what's the use of having what amounts to being a Placebo Website...in effect! Also after my initial disappointment with New Egg the pricing and Product's offered on the Canadian website offer Less for More...especially the security offerings being two to three years old in some instances...and the pricing being astronomically out of whack. New Egg's Head Office and Distribution is located out of Whittier California...I couldn't find a Canadian Office or Phone Number...or Contact Address. I'm going to research further into this as I feel it's patently unfair in having a Website that purports to offer Competitive Pricing but is clearly Exploiting an unsuspecting Target Market and it's Potential Customer base. Time to contact the Competition Bureau...I feel this is Patently Misleading and Totally Unfair. Sincerely...Securon

I prefer the Complete edition - which is what I'm using now.

    Thanks anyway,
    Wendi

Can I ask why? When I've compared the two on paper, I don't see much difference other than the program that deletes temporary files and the data backup?!

5pc complete boxed edition is on sale for 12.99 with a code now. if you get newegg emails you will have the code. my email says the codes are email specific so my code would not work with someone else's email though im not sure. i already ordered the limit of 2 and tried the code on my wife's account and it said it was invalid for her email.

Sure, not a problem, and I accept that there doesn't seem to be a huge difference, but for me the optimizer (and its advanced settings) comes in very useful, as I'm daily deleting temporary files (arguably sometimes unnecessarily), and it covers areas beyond CCleaner, which I also have available.

The Online Storage could come in useful sometime, although I'm not using it presently.
And don't forget that Complete is for 5 devices, usually compared to 3 for IS Plus, so Complete represents better value also imo.
Also, if any new enhancements were introduced, then I feel they might be most likely to be in the Complete version, perhaps.

I do accept also that WSA IS-Plus represents a comprehensive and more than adequate solution itself, of course.

    Cheers,
    Dermot :)

others either do or used to do the same thing. ncix for the longest time did the same thing when i tried to buy stuff here in the usa from them and now that they have a us site like newegg has a canada site i still have all kinds of trouble buying there. and the shipping half the time is insane. maybe see if ncix would start a matching policy to newegg??

Good Morning! zfactor...the situation is complicated...since it's the internet...classified as Electronic Communication...as opposed to a Brick and Mortar location...and the countries laws and regulatory policies in governing Electronic Purchases. And once the purchase crosses the border how does this effect the purchase...i.e...return policies...and shipping fees etc. But the really difficult part is I would suspect in law...what guidelines affect Advertising and Legal Promotion on Specific Websites...especially from Existing Companies? For many years I sold Consumer Electronics...and was fairly well Educated and Informed on the Marked differences between the U.S.A and Canadian markets. But the Web is a whole different ball game. Sincerely...Securon

"Complete" adds (re-branded) LastPass. LastPass is an excellent password manager and some might like to have it integrated into WSA.

Actually, WSA IS includes this as well. See the comparison link posted above.

P.S. Since I've already been using LastPass for the past several years, I choose not to use the version incorporated into WSA IS.

The product comparison page seems to imply that IS includes the password manager, but in my account in the web console the password option is unavailable/expired since I switched from "Complete" to "IS". Perhaps Triple Helix or PrevX Help can clarify?

I too was already using LastPass so there was no need for that feature in WSA.

I am not at home right now, so I can't be 100% certain, but I am 99% sure that my IS version at home has the password manager active or installed.

^^ not that great imo they always run the 3pc and 5pc deals for this or close to it. i would not need the optimizer so for the av for a single lic for 10$ is not that great

Thanks for the suggestion. It didn't appear to be a keycode problem, but I did contact them and they straightened it out.
