Newbie Question

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if Spyware Blaster works with all browsers? I use Opera 6.05 and couldn't find anything on compatibility. I have also downloaded Spyware Guard which says it is only compatible with IE. I tried to update anyway and it said my version was out of date, took me to the main page but the version there was the same as what I had downloaded.

Help!

 

Hi capyboppy,

SpywareBlaster works with the Windows registry. That means it can block the spyware, no matter where it came from.
The tracking cookie protection however only works with IE6, so that part will not work with Opera.

SpywareGuard's Download Protection and Browser Hijacking Protection only work for IE. The rest is browser independent.
