NEWBIE QUESTION: Why does NOD never seem to be able to clean?

I run NOD 32 regularily in "Clean" mode and when it finds a virus it always says "NOD32 cannot clean..." and the only thing I can do it quarentine. I am sure I have dozens of virii in quarentine "somewhere" , but no idea where.

I am a real newbie when it come to virus protection so any advice would help. I have always had it (for about 7 years now) but never known how it works. Now my computer is running really slow and I am wondering if it's because these virus' haven't been "cleaned".
