New Windows Update Problems?

    Hi,

    I'm using a Lenovo Thinkpad with Windows XP, SP 3. My system downloaded and installed the most recent Windows security patch and now I cannot connect to the internet. I try IE 7, Foxpro, and email nothing will get through. I see confirmation that I'm connected with an excellent connection but nothing is coming through. I tried to use System Restore but that didn't work either.

    I've read in other sites about some sort of conflict between Zone Alarm and the most recent security patch and I'm wondering if anything of similar nature has been discovered/reported with ESET Smart Security?

    Uninstall the patch for now.

    You should be fine til Apps update the new "Protocal".....
