New Vista eye-candy and tweaks

    Here are three new tweaks for Vista:

    Glass Toasts: Replaces the "ugly" WindowsXP/Vista style balloon notifications with the Beta 1 style glassy toasts: With this application the balloons in Vista will also have an aero glass look. (also works in XP)

    3D User Picture: 3D User Picture replaces the user picture in Vista's startmenu with a pretty 3D animated one.

    Thumbnail Sizer: Allows the user to change the size of Vista's Window thumbnails that show when one hovers over the taskbar button for the window.

    I haven't tried this yet but will when I get home this evening.

    Very nice, the balloons in Vista should have been like GlassToasts. Thanks midway40.

    It mentions that this feature was in Beta 1, I wonder why they chose to go back to the old balloon instead in RTM?
