Revo uninstaller removes close to nothing......believe me. After using this, got to regedit and search for nod32 and you'll be surprised.

When Emailclient Integration Turned OFF: Outgoing mail is not scanned, as it is NOT counted! Before this build, I had it turned off (because of the tagging problems) and everything was scanned!
Every incoming email is counted as 2 mails (no problem, but it shouldn't be!)
    Tagging is working fine now!

If the counting is the only 'bump', it's usable and giving me the 'right' feeling again. :thumb:

This is impossible. Scanning of outgoing email can only be accomplished using the OE plugin as ESS/EAV do not scan SMTP as such. Also in Microsoft Outlook scanning of outgoing email has always been accomplished using EMON which communicated with MS Outlook via MAPI.

Seems like the issue with a lot of entries in the windows event log when browsing shares is still not fixed. I still see a lot of errors with the event ID 6004 and the description "A driver packet received from the I/O subsystem was invalid. The data is the packet.". This happen when i browse a windows share from the computer running nod32.

What's impossible? I assume, when I have sent an email and the count of scanned emails is: 0, the outgoing email is not scanned.
In the prior build, I unchecked 'client email integration' and all outgoing email was counted, so I assume it was scanned?
With this build: 3.0.621.0 indeed you have to activate 'client email integration' in order to get the sent emails scanned/counted and that's the way it should be.
Also when the mailclient is unchecked in the Pop3 tab, it's not counting the sent email and therefore I assume it's not scanned. Even with 'client email integration' active, the count is zero 0.
    Please explain again.

Come on, really you guys give the Eset people a rest after all is Christmas.

Yes, there might be some minor or major bugs still within the program but this last version 621 is quite an improvement and I believe that the new version (coming out sometime next year) will fix all or most of the remaining bugs.

Eset's nod32 was and still is one of the top antivirus products.
Eset's PR on the other hand needs some improvement!!!

As for now let Marcos and the rest of Eset's staff enjoy a Plzeň during their Christmas holidays.

To each and everyone members, mods, admins at Wilders, have a Merry Christmas and a New Year full of health and whatever else you might wish for.:)

From the technical point of view, outgoing email cannot be scanned with plugin integration disabled simply because it's the plugin that scans outgoing email. Once you disable it there's no other scanner that would scan SMTP communication transparently.

Well, I suggest you install the prior build and test it yourself. I have done everything with that build in order to avoid all the tagging problems and I came to this configuration in order to get every mail still scanned and I checked that by looking at the counting after every mail sent or received.
I am not pulling your leg!

I have tried everything, but......it's a very bad piece of software, leaving too much crap behind, but if you're happy with it......who am I to argue?

(sorry for being off topic here);)

Same thing is happening to me as well. I know I definatly downloaded the English version as well.

I don't want to sound rude but did ESET even test this version as Iam sure installing it, they would have known.

I got my update in the USA where it states it is V621 & that is what it is, although I live in the UK.

According to the ESET UK site it states their version is 566 for both ESS & NOD32, this is in the Registered Software section.

However, I downloaded both NOD32 & ESS to see what the size in bytes of both are.

they are the exact size of the new V621 versions.

So it seems they are the new updates, if so, that is very sloppy workmanship.

566 is in fact smaller in size.
I downloaded 621 and compared them.

the bug fixes has increased the size of both ESS & NOD32.
Try it and you'll see it.

It's the same program with some new features and bug fixes. That means the sourcecode is changed and the program is compiled using the new sourcecode. Then a new installation packaged is created. So the chances that the filesize of the current and previous version should be identical isn't very likely....and in this case it's not. All of the nod 3.0 releases so far have a different filesize of the installation package.

I'm really at a loss of what to do now !!! All my clients request read -receipts and unless i turn off integration in Outlook Express i'm screwed. o_O
So off it goes again i guess. 2.7 never had these issues and its scanning engine seemed great to me.

First, thank you for the update, much improved!

However, please can we have the right click options on the task bar icon as in the ESS update?

Oh, and most importantly, Merry Christmas one and all, good luck to Eset for the coming year too.
