New to PG (cannot open mutex 2)

    I guess PG is leaving it up to us to find the work arounds for the program. DCS didn`t seem to fix it. Just for the heck of it I went and done the complete uninstall as posted and the thing still comes up with the error. I`ll just go back to doing my re-adjusting again I suppose. :rolleyes:

    Same here. Strange that DCS still haven't fixed that.

    I have used PG for about a year now, and I never got that error until TODAY. I was running NOD32 when I decided to upgrade to Kaspersky. I uninstalled NOD32, insatlled Kasp, restarted the computer. When I got back to the OS, I got that error, and I could no longer connect to my router. It may have something to do with NOD32.

    I too am having the same problem with PG not loading at startup. I get the mutex error and PG tells me "failed to initialize check dscuserprot.exe". This problem is only occuring on my XP machine. My Win2k machine works just fine.

    Why have we not yet heard from Diamond about this very common issue?
