Task Catcher can restart it or alert you to any changes. Want to be sure Spyware doesn't shut down Zone Alarm or WinPatrol? Malware doesn't know about Task Catcher so they won't bother! Want to be sure certain programs won't run? Black list it and Task Catcher will stop it in its tracks. Multiple users on your computer? Black list certain programs so other family members won't run them without your permission. WinPatrol PLUS user? PLUS access has been integrated into the application. Programs added to your Black List will automatically be shut down when detected by Task Catcher. Kids using your computer? Black Lists are unique and may be set up on a per user basis. Task Catcher will allow let you create a Black List of programs you want to make sure the kids can never run. Active Tasks At any instance in time, your computer is running a number of programs or "Active Tasks". Some tasks are very important while others can just slow you down. Many are a part of the Windows operationg system and important to its operation. Others may be programs you want running at their peek performance. Stil others may be programs which have snuck on to your computer against your will. Task Catcher will allow you to see what tasks are running and help you control them.
