New Spyware

I would like to report two spyware components which Spywareblaster currently does not know.

The two spyware components are: MyWay.MyBar and ShowBehind. Please investigate these two spyware components and release them in Spywareblaster's next definitions update.

I was just on the forums for the same reason. Sometime between midnight lastnight and today i got that myway.mybar spyware too. Obviously, spyguard doesn't have it yet cause it didn't prevent it. Course, i have a firewall too so i don't understand how i got it!?!?!

Hi,

Could you both please follow these instructions, so we can see if it is a new variant or something else is at hand.

Please go to http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/, and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log as a .txt file, and copy and paste its contents into your next post.

Most of what it lists will be harmless, so do not fix anything yet.
