Hi, folks: I just noticed that there is app listed w/ majorgeeks.com claiming it has a data base of approx.762 rougue spyware programs. I seems to me that it is undertaking some sort of parallel task aiming at SpywareWarrior's. But after I click on their home site:Camtech, I am puzzled by one of their claims; they has flagged spyware nuker as a spyware in sheep's clothing and all their evidences are traced back to 2003 or so, while spywarewarrior has de-listed the app in question in 2004 or so. Therefore, here is another perfect example that which one do you trust? Often, conflicting info makes your head spin, at least for me.*puppy*

I have never seen this program listed on MajorGeeks before. I find it hard to believe that there are only 762 known spyware programs? Can someone verify this o_O?

Interesting to see Ashampoo stuff in there. ;)

    I wouldn't use it.

Go for common sense better, and 946 programs only is a joke.

I got that list from another user in another forum.

    Cheers.

They are dated back to 2000. But remember:

"Once bitten twice shy." Hence, no Ashampoo or Crawler stuff in this box please!

    *Cy stands for Cydoor:
