Hi everybody, I was wandering if anybody could help me get a new 1GB RAM for an Emachines E4064 quite cheap (under 25pounds (UK)) from a trusted source. Preferably from amazon. I don't know anything about building a PC or editing it, so I have no idea what will work and what won't. Thanks in advance, C.G.
You could try here at Crucial UK if this is your model http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/listparts.aspx?model=E-4000 Series
I got this info that may help you to help me- http://www.crucial.com/uk/systemscanner/viewscanbyid.aspx?id=2B5C8FFD31D926C3 So, I was wandering, is this compatitable? 1) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kingston-Te...?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1212249265&sr=8-23 2) http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...ils?ie=UTF8&me=&qid=1212249020&sr=8-1&seller= I like the 1st one because its cheap, but it says DDR2, is that OK? My computer is a desktop
@computer geek - The Crucial site helps get memory that is compatible with your computer. You need DDR not DDR2.
I know, but its too expensive, I just one some cheap-budget ones. Its my fault, I already have 1GB of RAM, I should have said I want 2 cheap graphic card to make 2GB.
