1.The strategy of system repair is much stricter than other sections, because it's used to repair abnormal system to original. Actually, we're reviewing supporting Trust to some low risk items like IE.

2.It should be that. Kingsoft PC Doctor is not AV and don't have strong self-protection. It aims to be a light assistant which can be easily used with other AVs. We want to make it useful, helpful, and reduce conflicts with other AVs, but not to add strong self=protection to it.

If added, then Kingsoft PC Doctor is cannot be on-demand utility. Meanwhile, we have to put deeper hook on system to stop others from ending it, which would be easily conflict with other AVs.

But you can make that optional. Many of us would like to keep it on realtime. On the matter of conflict on placing hooks for self protection, I have seen many complementary softwares like Spyshelter/Zemana Antilogger have self-protection, yet runs smooth with other AVs.

Hooks is not always the best, a simple examble, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware does not have any sort of active self-protection. (just a thought :D )

I just did a small test of this program against 25-30 links, and it was perfect. I honestly am very surprised how well it performed. The new web scanner did not catch any threats, but its other shields detected pretty much everything before it could run it.

Resource usage also seems very reasonable. This program needs more attention and testing.

    1. You cannot custom install KPD now.
2, The compatibility should be OK, but I do have some feedback about slowdown performance, which I cannot confirmed. :'(

I hope custom install will be available soon:( you see, I already have ccleaner , secunia and wise registry cleaner:cool: So apart from the anti-trojan protection module I really don't see any use of the other features of KPD:doubt:
well, the feedback is really sad:'( but I'm sure you guys are already working to find a solution to the slowdown:D

It's not light...a little pity...but in all own features very interesting.
@KingsoftSecurity - one question from me...why in "Traffic Monitoring" and "System Booster" security level of all processes of KPCD are flaged as "unknown"? Don't you (Kingsoft) know you are safe or not? :D And how to change it?

WOW, everytime we release a new version we add them to whitelist in our cloud, but so sorry that this time we forgot.:'( They're added now, and will be safe soon. Thanks for your reporting.

Is there a way to submit a virus file through the GUI? It missed a rogue av, and I was going to submit the file to Kingsoft, but didn't see anything in the GUI to do so.
