Yep, XP x32 SP3 with Webroot Secure Anywhere Beta as the only real time security.

 

I want to use just your anti malware engine.Is this possible?Where is the good, old Kingsoft AV free?I don't need optimizers and so on...

 

The old Kingsoft AV free is not supported, no SN provided. It's better to use KPD and leave the optimizer and cleaner there.

No, it has released version 2012. I meant the old version which released in 2009.

I don't think they have the English version out yet. I think an English version for it will be out later on.

I wonder if that may have something to do with WSA along with Kingsoft. I have had WSA have problems with other security programs as I was testing it. Boot issues were one of the problems I experienced.

Did you check your spam box? The activation email may be there.

 

In the first couple tests, I got around 20-40s slower. I'll keep testing in various situations, and also put self-optimization in our schedule. If you got something obvious, I'd very happy to try.

 

Thanks for testing, I am just curious is this the normal slowdown or is this more then normal? This is one of the first programs that had slowed down my machine pre logon screen and such so that's why it lead me to think it was a conflict.
