well its not a scanner so the same applies to all HIPS (and unfortunately the same thing applies to many AV's once already infected.)

We have conducted the testing for day eight, but will be holding off on publishing the results and also disabled the live data as we need to clarify some anomalous results. We are in contact with the vendor and expect to have the matter resolved by tomorrow and will include today's results with those of day nine.

    Regards,
    Sveta

    Hi,

Testing continues today, we had to pause this testing as we have discovered a critical security issue with a number of security applications.

    Regards,
    Sveta

    Hi,

Are those issues completely resolved, and in what why did they interfered with the test.

Hi, the issues I refer to were not related to this test. We did have to check one possible issue with this test, but we are now satisfied that this is okay.

This project and the other tests we publish are just the visible side of our work. We conduct most of our work behind the scenes. As part of ongoing research, we found an issue which potentially had implications for a number of vendors and their applications, so we are now looking to see which are affected and will be contacting them to advise them.

The example of this issue is shown on our fronpage.

    Regards,
    Sveta

Anyway, Online Armor ++ also has some special teconologies just for banking, which other softwares don't have, and which probably haven't been tested..
It has a mode called Banking Mode that should allow connections only with safe sites: if you're testing the security of online banking, that should be also be taken in consideration..
    or not?

Keyscrambler and Spyshelter still suckin air aren't they  You would think the spyshelter folks would try and improve their warnings but i guess they would rather just bury their heads in the sand ;)

Nice to see a few of the products (prevx, kav) doing well!

Interesting how Norton started to improve slightly between day 3 - 5 :thumb: then back to fail on day 6, and hasn't improved since ?
