    Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2010 is not capable for real-time protection of your computer. As soon as your computer is cleaned you are supposed to remove the tool and install a full version of antivirus software...

    The Removal tool is always NOT a real-time antivirus.

    You are right and i am aware of the same. And the same was also mentioned above on my post.

    Whether its new or not is subjective I guess. I personally wouldn't class version 2010 (9.0.0.722) as new, think its been out for month now.
