Looks interesting. I know it has been a long development cycle. Thanks for the update. I may have to look into testing it out if time allows.
New Product Brochures with introductory sale prices (This list is for US and Canada installations only): Standard: https://usa.kaspersky.com/standard Advanced: https://usa.kaspersky.com/plus Premium: https://usa.kaspersky.com/premium Looks like its available now both to buy and to convert current installations to the new (don't see any demos yet): "Today Kaspersky announced the launch of early access to its new, simplified consumer solutions portfolio..." https://www.globenewswire.com/news-...to-reimagined-consumer-product-portfolio.html
And is there anything new or interesting? I did see a quick preview on YouTube and I noticed that the HIPS looked a bit cluttered and complex.
I haven't personally looked at it yet. I am testing another product right now that I can't share any info on.
Just like most AVs out there, they had to ruin it by including this junk performance optimizer (app updater, PC speed up, etc.)
is there any way to upgrade from kis v21 (j) to one of these plans? or these plans are separate as another line of products?
Yes you can: "If you’re using the paid version of one of our home products, you can switch to the new system without spending a dime. For example, you can convert your current Kaspersky Internet Security license into a Kaspersky Standard subscription for free. The same way, you can easily convert Kaspersky Security Cloud into a Kaspersky Plus subscription." https://www.kaspersky.co.uk/blog/kaspersky-home-products-2022/24752/
Wow, sounds mysterious, can you at least give a bit more info, is it a new AV or new HIPS. Yes, can stand this nonsense, but you don't get it in the free version.
Here's a brief "first Impressions" video of the new Kaspersky Plus version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKrDpTeLCyQ
