Yet another WMF vulnerability announced today by Microsoft. This one affects several older (but still in use) versions of Internet Explorer. It allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the user's computer. Microsoft Security Advisory (913333)

Why don't you try an alternate os? I recommend Knoppix live cd for starters, and then you can move onto OpenSuse, which is a reliable, fast, and virus free os  . I just started lookin at it and its pretty sweet.
