Actually if you split it equally, itd be:

Top: Avira, Kaspersky, Microsoft, Panda, Trend
    Middle: AVG, Eset, McAfee, Other
    Bottom: Avast, Symantec

    Anyways I question the graph.

Just look on the bottom-left side of the Prevx website. The heading says "What Prevx CSI Detected Yesterday".

It looks like Trend missed fewer than any of them @ 287.

    Hi,

just numbers without any relations to whatever.
Maybe this results mean: Microsoft, Panda and Trend users don't like Prevx CSI

    Cheers

Unfortunately, since there is no explanation of how the information was gathered and what control variables were used, all we really know is that PrevX is using questionable marketing techniques. Sure, FUD sells; just not to anyone who does research here first.

Indeed! There was a bunch of irony in my post :D

Competition: who finds the best interpretation for this apparently useless graph? ;)

They say on the page that 66% of CSI-users are infected (last autumn this was 33% or something). CSI-users seem to become more and more infected over time? :p

P.S. This might, of course, also have something to do with the increasingly high FP rate of CSI. :cautious:

So the message is : "Your scanner is not the best, Prevx CSI will find the rest."
Do I understand this correctly ?

If this is really a fact, then Prevx will find everything and is 100 % perfect, but sadly enough no such thing exist, many tests are questionable, and sure if done by security vendors themself.

thats crap. That means Prevx would be able to detect 100 percent of any malware because as the graph shows, if yours misses it, Prevx gets it. There are so full of it, by itself it cant detect crap, well except FPs.

So do I. I had one FP with Prevx and none so far with CSI. It is a good reality check on other AV programs.

I like the 2.0 version running realtime. I have it set to query on unknown programs and also set on Pro mode so if there is something there that it doesn't know about it will ask and I can deny like a classical HIPS.
