I tried it and had to promptly uninstall it because it blocked everything without prompting, even though it was set to prompt. The UI was nice, though, I'll give it that much. It was taking around 8MB of RAM.

I know Jammer did the same thing as this before I read that it was incompatible w/ XP. I don't think that's the issue here, but it obviously doesn't like something about my system. It may have also been because I didn't register, but I would rather see if I like it before I go handing out my email address. If it used a little less memory I would be inclined to work with it a little more, but I use so many other apps that I'm looking for something a little lighter than this.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm also looking for a lighter on resource firewall.

Let me know if you find anything, I'll do likewise.

Jammer seemed perfect, small footprint, very simple to use, and at least *some* IDS features. It's too bad it doesn't work with XP.

Sorry if you know about this already. Kerio 2.15 has a light footprint.

    Kerio and forum

Download is on top of page.

I used Kerio before I didn't like it. Right now I'm using Sygate.
