New FCC chairman tells wireless carriers to unlock cell phones

    I for one highly encourage and hope that they'll finally do that.

    It will make it far more flexible for handset customers to have a wider range of carriers to pick from with their desired mobile phone brand instead of being restricted, in some cases to only a select few as it is now due to the present law imposed against unlocking these devices.

    For pity sakes, let 21st century science and invention become available and shared with all people without locking down the devices.
