There's no need to confirm any hashes, installers are signed.
Btw those filenames are not same like they usually are.

Really? :argh: Sorry I laugh but that's ridiculous and even more that you prefer hashes than a digital signature.
You can't find older versions in the website, I may upload the old versions I mentioned above for you though.

    In order of trust/importance:
    1. Digital signature
    2. Hashes (if a digital signature is not available)

    Hi @Mr.X
I appreciate you upload , I will use them , I guess they are pretty stable
about the digital signature could be bypassed by some malware
while the hash well ,it's univoke
    thanks

I don't know what you're talking about but in my understanding that would need the malicious actor to upload his fake file to DS servers and if he is able to do that then he's able to change hashes numbers as well, that if Tom Ehlert published such hashes in his website which actually and clearly are not.
Also by simple common sense and logic, we all know DS is not worth the work to hack its software and website for profit, its userbase is not that large nor worth the work.

Even adding a serial key to the Drive Snapshot executables changes the file hashes, but the digital signature stays the same.
So, the only can that I can see how you know it's the original untouched version is to check the file hash.

    Hi there!
I had to move to a new computer and reinstall most of my applications. Unfortunately, I noticed that my licence for Drivesnapshot seems to have expired as of 1.50.
Does anyone have a download for the last 1.49 build, as it is no longer available from the vendor's site? Unfortunately I do not have a local copy and the linkssomewhere above in this thread have expired.
    Thanks very much!

By the way: Reading here, I am not the only one with this problem. Has anyone noticed that there has been limited support for two (or now five) years? Or when was this introduced? Years ago I only saved my licence information and not the terms, but I do not remember anything about time limits!

PS: I have noticed similar problems to those mentioned above in this thread. So I hope it is ok to post this here rather than start a new thread?

I'm still using the last 1.49 version prior to 1.50.

Even though I purchased a license for 1.50, I can't see any compelling reason to use it.
1.49 is smaller in size, and the new 1.50 feature (support of backups to a SFTP server) doesn't interest me.

Here are the details of the final version 1.49.

Yes, SFTP is of no use for me and I don't see which special adaptions were made for Win11, everything seems to be working as expected with 1.49.
A compelling reason to upgrade to a newer version could be a better support for Linux filesystems: it might be good to support btrfs besides ext. Reiser is deprecated AFAIK.

Are there any releasenotes for the different builds within one version??
