    I cant imagine that they will offer Kaspersky Engine and HIPS for free....

    I think there will be a hitch somewhere....:shifty:

    Well, it's good to see that ZA has finally jumped on the AV/FW-combo freeware bandwagon just like some other vendors [Comodo, etc.].

    I'll be more than glad to test this on a VM and report any bugs back to them.

    I believe it uses the Viper engine.

    There are a number of free av's using the Viper engine.

    The Viper is lite. ;)

    do they have their proactive defense in its firewall or in the antivirus?where is it?
    is the application control part of the proactive protection in its firewall o_O

    this could do the same stuff for Checkpoint which Panda Cloud AV did for Panda....improve reputation.

    4-5 years back when Checkpoint hadn't acquired it, it was a very popular program, but now its....

    Can someone tell about AV engine used?
