    Hi,

I use DefenseWall. Will ERP conflict with it? Any overlapping? What benefits will ERP add to my setup that already has DW?

    Best Wishes,
    Amit

    No.

ERP asks you about running an unknown process.
With ERP you can lockdown your system and automatically block anything that is not whitelisted.

Well DW already sandboxes any untrusted unknown processes. So which one would work first? DW sandboxing a process or ERP asking about a process/ ERP blocking a process? Is this not overlapping? Or even conflict?

Guess you'll have to try it yourself....;)

  5. DW guarded processes are also protected, meaning they can't infect trusted processes. Everything spawned or created by untrusted is sandboxed. Since DW allows execution, my guess is that the anti-executable will prompt you (DW silently protecting).

I'm scared of trying out myself. I leave all the trying and testing to you guys.:D

Yeah well I won't use ERP with this setup then. Maybe later.;) Thanks.:)

I've briefly tried this combo not long ago along with Shadow Defender, no conflicts that I encountered.

I was noticed a strange thing today with ERP on windows 8, all the options of tray are greyed out.

Everything works fine once I restore default settings.

Hmmmm, that's weird, working fine on my end (Windows 8 64-bit with modified ERP settings)

Try a clean install of ERP to see if that works

Ok I found out the reason for that behaviour, I reset the setting to default and tried changing each of the settings in erp. it's a setting under advanced that says "disable the pop-up menu of the tray icon", I am not sure if this is by design or a bug.

AFAIK that option is removed from beta 2.7.7 so there should be no problem once the final is out.

    @NoVirusThanks

I'm still utilizing the latest version of v2.7.7 Build 18 BETA and loving it.

It has been such a smooth experience for me, I just want to thank you for working so hard at creating the perfect Anti-Executable.

Can't wait to see what's in store for us next.

    Keep up the good work.

Yes, if no other issues are reported, build 24 or 25 will be final for v2.7.7
