    Just go to the Settings and customize it according to your needs.

    @Boost

    The default settings are safe. My recommendation would be to enable the option "Purge old hashes when a process is whitelisted/blacklisted" to have a clean whitelist (without duplicated file names).

    @Snoop3

    Actually the last opened folder is remembered globally, so if you whitelist a file in C:\Windows\, the path will be rememebered for all the other cases where is needed to open/save a file. But I can change this to be per-option in case, and it can be remembered also after ERP is closed.

    @TyRidian

    Thank you :D

    ERP 2.7.6 seems to be working fine in Win 8.1 64 bit (along side EMET 4.0 which installed and works fine).

    Later...

    I just installed erp again on my laptop and the same thing is happening...when my screensaver kicks in erp must be blocking it cause I can't do anything (only see a black screen) and have to manually shut down the pc...I have whitelisted the .scr and whitelisted the commandline cause I get an alert when I click screensaver in power options...Until I get this figured out i've disabled my screensaver and I have it set not to turn off display.

    I would say it's been discontinued, the website reflects no free version anymore, just the paid version.

    If you want to try EXE Radar Pro for free, then I say give the trial a go.

    Very bad idea. Aside from the fact it was very restricted, there won't be any support for it. Not like the price is prohibitive. Free trial also available.

    Here's the only commandline's I have whitelisted so far...

    "C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe" shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL desk.cpl,ScreenSaver,@ScreenSaver

    C:\Windows\system32\MiniMonitor.scr /p 66994

    C:\Windows\system32\MiniMonitor.scr /p 67008

    when I click on screensaver in personalization I don't get an alert anymore, but i'm sure once my .scr kicks in it will be blocked

    When I click on different settings in control panel i'm getting alerts, will these commandlines be added eventually so that these alerts won't happen?

    when erp gives an alert in most cases is it best to whitelist the process or commandline or both so that alert will not happen again?

    Try this one (without quotes)...

    "C:\Windows\system32\MiniMonitor.scr /p *"

    Put it in WhiteList-CommandLine (Wildcard) tab and let us know about result.
    When you see random numbers, replace them with '*' sign and put that commandline in the wildcard tab.

    I just tried it, set screensaver to 1 min (to save time) once it kicks in I see my wallpaper but no taskbar/explorer and if I use ctrl-alt-delete all I get is a black screen with hourglass :mad:

    Out of curiosity, have you tried the trial version yet?

    Or have you beta tested?

    If not, I say try it or be apart of the development, and if you do...you'll soon realize that the free/discontinued version is far more restricted and featureless than the paid version.

    Have you thought about buying a license?

    What is the commandline string for when your display shuts off? this should not be happening!, i'm not a genius at security but for display/screensavers shouldn't this be allowed by default?

    Perhaps nvt forgot to add it.
    You know you don't have to use screensavers if you have LCD screen?
    They were made for usage with CRT screens.

    I know, I can live without one but it shouldn't be interfering in the first place imo

    I agree, LCDs don't need them anymore :thumb:

    Plus, Even though they might be nice to look at, they can make the computer heat up as well (GPU, CPU), due to running for long periods at a time.
