    I too have been testing this new release. I'd consider it a major release, and a very exciting one.

    Given the price and the terms, I'd say a 2nd license would be the way to go. I bought 4 licenses to cover my 4 computers. I consider it a bargain.

    Peter2150,

    Have you ever used Software Restriction Policy on any of your PCs? I always have (whenever using Windows, of course...I'm on the "dark side" testing out Win 8 right now from Linux). My list of executable types that I manually add must be near 80. Seems to work fairly well.

    Thanks.

    Later...

    No I haven't. I just prefer to use 3rd party utilities.

    To clarify, there is no change to the Free version, still at 2.7.0.0, so no Fast User Switching there. And I take there will be no Free version of 2.7.3.0, correct?

    So far, so good....Very impressive. Quick question NVT, I'm trying to solve my MBAM Pro vs ERP freeze issue, so I excluded the whole MBAM folder in 2.7.3 in hopes to fix it, and it asked me if I wanted to make it "recursive" and it was defaulted to "Yes", so that's what I chose. Can you explain to me what recursive/yes means?

    Very impressed with the level at which this program is evolving.....Amazing! :thumb:

    Short question: I have recommended ERP to a friend of mine. He's running W8 x64 and he wanted to try free wersion, but he continiously gets the error: "Service Timeout! Aborting...". Same was with 2.7.2.
    In Services list ERPx64Svc is inactive.

    @DBone

    That means if you whitelist:

    C:\ABC\

    All processes started from that folder will be allowed.

    If you use Recursive, ERP will auto allow processes started also from subfolders, example:

    C:\ABC\subfolder1\
    C:\ABC\subfolder2\subfolder\

    @pablozi

    Probably another security software blocked the start of ERP service. Please tell to your friend to disable security softwares before install ERP, or if he knows how to edit them, allow all ERP actions and all actions of the setup file (used to install and start the service ERPx64Svc). I would also recommend in that case to start ERPx64Svc using "services.msc" of Windows. Let me know if that works.

    @therube

    Free version was not updated.

    Thanks for that, got it. I added every MBAM folder that I could find (3) to the "Trusted Folders" list", and I also added the 6 MBAM .exes that I found in the MBAM Program Files (x86) folder to the "Parent Processes" tab too.

    I haven't experienced the total system freeze that I experienced before with 2.7.2 & MBAM Pro installed, and I have rebooted many times..............I'll keep you posted.

    Don't know if this has been asked, but will there be a update button, instead of having to uninstall every time?
