I think so but anyway there will be a web page that allows customers to download the latest version by inserting their activation code and email.

The 'Help file' also needs updating .Under FAQ we have

No mention of Windows 8 and 64 bit compatibility.

    and

There is no option as such in the settings.

Update of Help file is already under Todo list for next versions.
Beavioral analysis functionality was present in older releases but is planned to be included again in the near future.

    Hello,
I don't know if it has been discussed before, so if yes I am sorry as I could not find it.
I have a problem with the whiteList as the program does not seems to remember the settings for some applications only. For example Microsoft Office. When I opened it the first time Word or Excel, EXE Radar Pro ask me what I wanted to do, so from the list I choose "whiteList" but it doesn't work as every time I open Word or Excel the windows pop's up and ask me again and again the same question.o_O
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

I haven't Office installed, but did you notice if the popups concern Regsvr32 anywhere? If so, go to settings and untick the relevant option. Of course you lose something in security.

    Just guessing.

Thanks Fuzzas. No the popups does not concern Regsvr32. It's just the regular windows from NVT EXE asking me to choose what to do: "Allow Once, Block Once, WhiteList etc.

I don't have Office installed either. Can you confirm the MD5 Hash is the same each time you have the issue. I mean that the Hash you white listed is the exact same one re-asking for permission?

Hmmm.....I don't have Office installed so I can not test it.
Looks like nvt will have to deal with this situation....

I have Office 2007 installed on windows 8 pro 64 bit and i have enabled 'automatically allow all software from program files folder' settings. It is working fine. No extra popup's as i use office all the time.If you don't enable the setting to 'automatically allow..... program files folder' then you get popup's once.
After i whiteList the process from blocked 'Events' no more prompts even with 'allow ....folder' settings disabled.

Hi brainrb1, if you read post #1260, I mention that this function was enabled from the beginning. The only difference with you, I am running Microsoft Office Starter 2010 which was included with my HP Laptop. I have no idea why it's not working...

It will be even better with new version (fix for short names of Program Files folders).

I honestly don't see how I ran ERP and never had Lockdown Mode enabled. Well, it's certainly a feature that will remain enabled at all times.

Can't wait for the fix :thumb:

It is much improved since last version (more user friendly IMHO).
Now it doesn't block automatically allowed programs from Program Files and Windows system folders.

    This is definitely true

I have always excluded ERP (I know dumb choice) from testing past security setups. Well, no more, For me...ERP is here to stay
