I am really digging how low the resource usage is (Judging by the screenshot that is)

He said it would be a few days, but still no new news :(

Hopefully soon, I'm really stoked to use this on my 64-bit machine.

I don't want to disclose too much info, in respect of the author (Just in case he wanted to first). All I am going to say is, he is implementing some really cool features for next release, and that he will be releasing a beta build to squash whatever might be wrong with 64-bit (If there is anything wrong), then shortly after that a final release.

Trust me on this, it will be worth all this waiting.

The future looks bright for NoVirusThanks EXE Radar Pro.

Now that there's a 64bit version around the corner, I need to learn more about EXE Radar. Is it a good match with Sandboxie and Mamutu?

FWIW, it works fine with each of them in x86 with no apparent issues or conflicts that I can discern. Hopefully the same will be the case for you folks who will be using the 64 bit version.

Okay, thanks Blues7. Do you think it's a good layer to go with sandboxing and a BB?

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't enhance that setup.

FWIW, I was using the setup of Exe Radar (Free) along with Sandboxie and Shadow Defender on my wife's XP system but substituted PrivateFirewall for Exe Radar due to the outbound firewall protection and the fact that Bellgamin reported that the process monitor of PF was alerting to all the same events as Exe Radar. Since there was not a significant difference in the CPU/RAM requirements of the two security apps, I opted for PF in her case.

Depending on your needs, I think Exe Radar would make a great addition if you have your other needs/bases covered. In my case it's probably overkill but it seems to work well so I'm leaving it in place for the time being.

Just trying this out, looks very interesting. Is there a trial for the Pro version?
I enabled sound notification for when I'm afk, but the sound is very annoying, please change it to something else.

Looks like the May window for release is a no go.

I can kind of see why the delay though, the features he is bringing to us are going to be quite exciting and beneficial, plus such features take time to implement.

I have never really been this excited about a software release (64-bit).

You really can't compare the two, they both do a great job. A user would be satisfied with either one...I think.

    Both are affordable
They both do the job effectively
    They have strong feature sets
They both offer great customer service

    and...

The memory consumption on both are just insanely low.

I guess it just depends on user preference.

The only thing's that may change a users mind, could be the following...

EXE Radar Pro is a bit cheaper than AppGuard
EXE Radar has a free limited version, as AppGuard only has a free trial
