I will try enabling self defense again, and see if that helps.

Okay, I was wondering if Enable helps your Icon from sneaking off. Seems to help mine. Thanks

Q: does Exit disable protection modes/stop ERP or does Exit just stop notifications.

Rightclick tray-icon + Exit = ERP is closed = No Protection

Thanks, after all this time. I realized, wasn't sure in my mind.
Fuzzy me was thinking AG Exit (GUI) just stops Alerts. So, maybe ERP Exit just....
    Thanks!

I tried this, and I could not tell a difference. Windows still seems to hide ERP tray icon just as often with Self Protection enabled.

And if you don't have the tray-icon, how do you disable the protection (if you have to)? o_O

Since installing v3.1.0.0 Build1-15052015 I have it that ERP icon doesn't appear in the "tray", and I have to start it manually.

However both processes are running (both the service and ERP x64) but no Icon, I have to kill the ERPx64 process and start it manually again.

    Any solution for that ?
    Os: Win8.1 x64

Edit: I already deleted the regkeys under "TrayNotify" but no change.

The tray icon hides itself a lot on my machine, and on many other user's machines, but I have not seen any problem with the tray icon not running at all. It usually just buries itself in the taskbar. I would uninstall ERP, and install it again. If you have the same problem then I would report it to the developer. What other security software are you using? Maybe you are having an application conflict. I hope someone else will reply that has experienced your specific problem.

    ^Thanks. I will try that.

    I am using

    Appguard
    Emsisoft AM
    NVT ERP
    Sandboxie.

And I am running this combination already for a couple of years without any problems.

    @mood

Thx, but these options aren't enabled.

Just found out, that after PC Boot, I logout and login again the Icon is there, but at first Login it isn't.

    Hi All

New user with New Antiexecutable: NoVirusThanks EXE Radar Pro. Using Win 10 along with 360 Total Security Antivirus and 360 Internet Protection as addons with Opera and Comodo Dragon.

I have a problem, that is, in Alert mode with NVRTE Radar pro. When I start either of the browsers I get an alert which offers allow or block. The alert is related to:-

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /c "C:\Program Files (x86)\360\Total Security\safemon\chrome\360webshield.exe" --parent-window=0 chrome-extension://glcimepnljoholdmjchkloafkggfoijh/ < \\.\pipe\chrome.nativeMessaging.in.a2092ba112492d26 > \\.\pipe\chrome.nativeMessaging.out.a2092ba112492d26

This is the 360 Internet Protection add on I think. Every time I boot up Dragon or Opera this bit "pipe\chrome.nativeMessaging.out.a2092ba112492d26" changes so it is not possible to whitelist this process because it changes every time.

Can anyone help me avoid these pop ups every time I start the browsers. My knowledge OF NVRTE Radar Pro is very limited and I usually need both hands holding

Thanks for your help and patience.

    Thanks

    Terry

    Hi BJM

    Thanks for your reply.
I substituted the bottom line section in your reply for the top line, but it did not work. Most grateful. Any other suggestions?

    Terry
