    You do what is the most important in business:

    Listening your users critics (bad or good) and adjust your product accordingly ; you cant fail by this way. ;)

    Some new screenshots about the new ERP look:

    Main application window:
    http://postimg.org/image/65pnby1yh/

    Application header has a simple black background, cleaner text fonts, better application short description, social buttons on the right.

    I removed the tab "Status", all the information listed there are also listed in the application title bar, so I found it redundant.

    Now there is the "Events" tab as first tab, I found it more useful because the Events tab is the tab I use more often.

    Whitelist -> Processes:
    http://postimg.org/image/kjmqun7ib/

    I renamed the title "Allowed Processes" to "Safe Applications", more easy to understand for beginner users.

    Whitelist->Path Comparison:
    http://postimg.org/image/7tqtu9g5f/

    I changed the tab name "Path Comparison" to "File Locations", more easy to understand probably.

    I also updated the short description to "Manage file locations and folders".

    Blacklist:
    http://postimg.org/image/41jziwf7z/

    I renamed the title "Blocked Processes" to "Unsafe Applications" (may be better "Unauthorized Applications" ?), more easy to understand for beginner users.

    The icons used in the screenshots are only temporary, however I will integrate colored icons for each tab (same icon-style used in the screenshots).

    Alert dialog:
    http://postimg.org/image/655gyyvob/

    I removed the PID number before the process name (ex: [1234]Setup.exe), it caused some confusion among users.

    I aligned the text and editboxes for better readability and moved the "Allow" / "Block" button more on the center.

    The button "Trusted Vendor" if clicked is used to send the vendor name that digitally signed the executable to the list of Trusted Vendors.

    Block notify window:
    http://postimg.org/image/6hh7j07wv/

    Smaller window, as said in the previous post, two editboxes to handle long characters, bold text in red for the action, and I removed the PID number on the process name.

    Let me know your thought :)

    Or make a poll at least.....

    Sure, they are not definitive, probably I'll add the button "License Details..." instead of that two buttons, what do you think ?

    Since running the new build, I haven't had the problem with the NVT Icon disappearing from the Tray :thumb:

    @novirusthanks - To be quite honest with you, I think having a pitch black header color, makes the program look dated, just my opinion. I personally like the current header color in the stable version, it adds character to the program. I don't know, just thinking you should experiment with header colors if you want to change, or simply just stick with the current color in the stable build.

    Hi Andreas

    Changes look great. Thanks for getting rid of the "social" buttons. I for one am so sick of seeing them. Makes me want to throw up.

    @iammike

    Thanks for the update.

    @Peter2150

    Yeah, social buttons can be annoying sometimes.

    @TyRidian

    I like them all!
    Can you make them as skins for ERP?

    @siketa

    Sure, I'm working on it right now :)

    User will be able to select a pre-defined list of header background colors.

    1. Under blacklist blocked processes instead of unsafe I think unauthorized should be used. There might be an occasion where a user would like to block an application but blocking it doesn't mean it is unsafe.

    2. Where have you moved import/export to?

    3. I like the change from path comparison to file location which does make more sense to me.

    4. I would still like a date/time on whitelist commandline or something that shows that I made an addition/change from the default settings. This way I can easily delete/modify an entry without tampering with the defaults and without having to restoring default settings.

    Suggestion regarding Charyb's idea No.4:
    Show custom (user) defined commandlines in different color or add column with description Application/User.

    @Charyb @siketa

    1. Done
    2. I would like to separate import/export/reset settings and whitelist/blacklist/etc
    I moved the import/export/reset settings part in the Settings window: http://postimg.org/image/4k5nvbxep/
    I will see where to move the import/export/reset of lists
    3. Agree.
    4. We need to think better about this point, we can do a lot to optimize lists management, such as add categories, comments, datetime, searching, etc.
    This is a point that we can cover for v3.2 as it will need much more work.

    @siketa

    Here is a preview of the tab used to change the application header background color:

    Better "Password" tab:

    erp3.png

    Better "Signed Processes" tab (by default invalid or revoked certificates are blocked):

    The one who strives to change a good program's GUI is like someone who would chop off his legs in order to obtain stainless steel artificial legs because they are prettier to look at. :rolleyes:

    But each to his own tastes, as the lady said when she kissed the cow.
