I really like learning mode Will ERP add Command Lines in learning mode? I just tried it, but it did not add the command line VPN Check Pro uses. I may not have waited long enough for the Command Line to run while in learning mode.

Also, i'm not sure if it is safe to add the Command Line used by VPN Check Pro to the whitelist. I marked it with the red box in screen shot below. What do you think? How risky would it be adding that command line to the whitelist?

Is there still a trusted publishers list? I did not see it, but I have not been using ERP long so I don't remember exactly where it was at before.

There's some vendors on the trusted Vendors list that I don't trust. I think I will remove some of them.

Okay. . . so I have version 2.7.8 installed. Can I just use the updater in the Help menu, or do I need to completely uninstall first and then re-install the new version?

If a re-install is required and I've exported all Settings and Lists, can I just Import them and be back to where I was?

Currently running RC6 and I tried the auto-upate but it can't find the Final version, tells me its up to date. Is a clean install required from RC to Final?

The VPN command-line string can be whitelisted without problems.

You can edit the trusted vendors in the Settings->Signed Processes panel.

You can use the auto-updater, it should work just fine.

You can export the settings/lists before run the updater (recommended), I think there will be no need to import them as v3.0 handles the old settings/lists.

This is a small tool useful to merge the command-line strings that used the MD5 hash with the wildcard-enabled strings:

Usage is pretty simple:

1) Close ERP
2) Run ERPCmdLineMerger.exe
3) Click the button
4) Close ERPCmdLineMerger.exe
5) Open ERP

Yes, as siketa said, upgrade works only with stable/final versions.

You can just uninstall RC6 and then install final v3

Thanks for this great software Andreas.. i activated NVTERP today and when i checked the temp folder i saw a text file named ERP_Activation_Error is there any problem with my activation or is it normal? the software is showing its registered version. just want to clarify also Andreas how many times can i reinstall NVTERP on the same pc? is there any limitation on the activation?

 

Is there any giveaway coming soon for NVTERP?

 

What version should the final read? I thought I already had v3.0.0.0 Build15-10032014 but I did uninstall it and installed the one found on the main site.

The final version is often the same as the latest stable, bug free beta version.

 

Yeah I get that, but I thought there was an RC7 floating around too, just wanted to clarify. So basically I uninstalled the same version I re-installed haha hilarious no wonder it said there weren't updates.

If you are worried whether you have the latest version, you can check the "properties > digital signature" for the signing times for the two NVTERP processes. They should be as follows for the release version:
EXERadar.exe - Monday, March 17, 2014, 12:17:11 PM and
ERPx64Svc.exe - Thursday, March 13, 2014, 7:29:12 PM
