network connections...

    hi there,

    updated to version 4.0.474.0 recently. since update no network connections
    are visible under network connections window. network activity, however, is visible.

    had no problems with previous version of smart security 4. i tried a clean install
    a couple of times but nothing seems to solve this...

    any ideas?

    same issue, occurs after install and a reboot. It also fails to disable Windows Firewall during the install process.
    The only workaround I found was to turn off Windows Firewall prior to install. In regards to the network connection issue turn off and then on again Eset Smart Security for each Windows session, because reboot the computer loses network connectivity.

    problem solved,

    To restore internet connection permanently No need to remove Smart security, just uninstall and then reinstall your network adapter from the Windows Device Manager.
