    If this email client has it's own html rendering engine, then it's almost for certain more secure then Outlook (Express).

    Plenty of decent clients at http://lists.gpick.com/pages/Mail_Clients.htm

    Pity yamc is missing in this list.

    Check your requirements:
    if you need encryption, check for s/mime (x509.3 certificates) of pgp integration (I like The Bat! and Thunderbird in this respect)
