Hopefully this forum is the right one!

Hi, I tried a 14 day trial version of spam inspector ( http://www.giantcompany.com/piOe.aspx?PID=A22090 )but I'm unable to get rid of it now!

    What happened?
I installed it but after rebooting I could not find any mention of the program in my setup.
So I tried it again, and again no luck.
Later I found out that the program is working but i cannot change any settings.
A real uninstall is not available. What can I do to get rid of this stupid programo_O

With Hijack this I could not find any mention of this program.
    Any ideas?

    Frans

There should be an uninstaller in your start menu under programs>spam inspector. It also should be in your add/remove programs. If it isn't, then something went wrong with your install.

To run it's controls, you have to open Outlook or Outlook Express. You will see it in your Outlook Express or Outlook taskbar when you open the client. The trial makes no mention of AOL email so if you are using AOL go to their site and look for technical support.

This tool is really nice. That I can see Spam comes from one company can come from many different domains and highlighting one email and adding it as an enemy seems to block the spam for a certain company from all domains. I really like the dang thing. ;)

That's why i'm wrinting here! nothing of the above is available to me!
Nothing to be found in mij OE, nothing in program > spamcop investor, it all does NOT exicst.
But still all email with CC:'s in it get to be moved to deleted items.
I need to get rid of this spamcop, how can I do this, or where is it?

    Hi Frans,

I installed the trial of SpamInspector monitoring it with Total Uninstall. I noticed a uninstaller named SICleanUninstaller.exe in \Program Files\Spam Inspector Outlook Express\Spam Inspector Outlook Express Edition

If you´d like the full log mail me at the addy in my profile. The full log is too big to attach.

    Regards,

    Pieter

I found a TON of new rules in my email client and removed them. I hope this solves the problem.
Note: i will never install spamcop inspector again. Unbelievable this is even in the market.
After installatieon nothing to find in my Outlook express (OE) uninstalling after that keeps the rules in place. nothing to setup after installation etc.
This is not a program this is a buglist

Thanks for al the help guys & Gals :D
