I just noticed a suspicious entry in my startup (WinXP) called 'rundll32.exe bthpro'. Anyone know what that is or does?

    Thanks for any feedback...

    Who cares
    if it's rundll32.exe bthpro.cpl

Then bthprops.cpl is a Bluetooth Control Panel Applet from Microsoft Corporation belonging to the Microsoft® Windows® Operating System :D

I am not using any bluetooth devices, but my PC does have a bluetooth controller and device driver.

There is no 'cpl' in that startup entry ....so do you guys think I should disable or delete the entry?

    Hey Aaron,

Don't know if this relates but did you recently apply the June 19th MS08-030: Vulnerability in Bluetooth update and have you re-booted since applying ?

Probably so Bubba (if it was a critical update). I did d/l and install some Windows updates yesterday, and re-started my PC this morning.
