NAV 2005

I take back my words of wisdom about Norton 2005 as it caused major probs yesterday. there was a 9mb liveupdate then liveupdate would not install and would not work again. Tried system restore which crasherd halfway through and I ended up reformatting. Gone back to Kaspersky and staying away from Norton from now on. Lesson learned.

 

Does anyone have the current test results for Norton AV?

I do like the LOG viewer in Norton's new AV.

Yes I was one of the first Norton supporters here and still like Norton.
This new AV has come along way. It sure hates BoCleans file access attemps

NOw we have seen an Interview with Steve Gibson. Can we get some of the other security software developers to come join in?

I know everbody hates the Gates but think back when he was just another geek working out of his garrage. BAck when Peter Norton wrote the first windows version for Gates and gates bought it for like 30 grand if I remember correct.

Yes let's get Gates, Norton, and all the others to join in for a big group hug
