Group policies and a secure browser is all I need.
And with secure, even disabling plugins and javascript will do for me.

What's the problem? Never tried it on Win7, but on Vista it was just, "turn it on".

Aww... the HIPS stuff is gone in Windows 7... :( Now I've no use for it. :D Will remove it from my sig. :p EDIT: Oh, and BTW - it turned on somehow after a restart. Before the restart I could click Turn on with nothing happening no matter how many times I tried - I would just get an error-message if trying to open the software. :D

Are you sure? I figured they might removed WD from win7 completely, but MSE doesn't have the HIPS functionality so I was hoping they would keep it in. Maybe they will add it in a later beta? Which windows build are you testing?

:ouch: well that's not good. Guess Microsoft need to decide what they are doing with it, I don't see why else it would be in win7.

Yeah, I get what you mean, but the software was always aimed at the average Joe I guess :ouch: - the settings look almost identical to that of MSE by now, but even a little better, some more small things that you can tweak, like scanning removable drives in real-time and so on (in MSE it clearly says when running a full-scan).
