That's nice! I heard a lot about Scotland and the Yorkshire by reading
James Herriot's books. He uses to talk a lot of the English countryside
and their inhabitants. He himself was born in Scotland but moved to the Yorshire where he became a vet and a very entertaining writer. :)
Yes, one day I will visit Scotland and Ireland for sure. :)

I try to please the kids when I do the pics for I know how kids like pictures.
    (and big kids too!) :D

Isn't it fun to see what a simple filter can do? :)

    Hey beetleboss!

I just saw your post... :(

A filter is a change or an effect that you add in a picture just
by selecting it from your menu. For instance, the one I sent in post 377
was a photo of Elwyn in which I used a filter called " colour pencils"....
I opened the photo (of Elwyn) in Photofiltre> I went into the menu >
I selected filter > then I selected Artistic effects > and then I chose >
"colour pencils" from it. :) Photofiltre is freeware and simple to use. ;)

So "colour pencil" is a filter. ;)
of course, I could have selected another filter
depending on the effect I want to achieve.

In case you might be interested by the program, here's the link:

Thank you very Uguel. ;) It's a really great pic.
PhotoFiltre really isn't so hard to learn, isn't it?
Besides it doesn't use layers, like PSP or PS.
Incredible Uguel, now this one wasn't done with PhotoFiltre. :D
He'll simply love it and so do I.
That's one thing I still have to learn about Animation Shop.

I'll save them later in the evening/morning, when I get home. :(

Thanks again for the work you've put into these wonderful designs. :-*

No, Photofiltre isn't hard to learn at all. It is quite simple!!! :)
I just love it! The frame and the mask option are very convenient
too! The second pic with Winnie the Pooh was done especially
to cheer up Elwin. Right, I used Animation Shop for that one.

If you have questions about animating a pic
I'll be glad to help. But remember: I am still learning. ;) :doubt:

    For all,

I think this link could be very convenient if you
want to get a great choice of tubes for Paint Shop. :)

Yeah, that was my opinion too the first time I used it.
Rita, you really have to get this, you hear. :D
Both, Darwin & Elwyn, love it. Since Darwin was little, all he wanted was Winnie, still does now. :D
Now Elwyn also wants Winnie. :p
I'm still learning too, so if I want some advice on how I could do it better, I'll let you know ASAP.
Never too old to learn new tricks.
Thanks for your generous offer Uguel. :-*

    Your welcome Eldar!
Those tubes save me lots of time when I have
to do either a birthday card or a congratulation card. ;)

That's right, it saves a lot of time having them close by.

Do you know this one Uguel?
 Really very cool picture tubes & other useful stuff.
I've just begun sorting all my bookmarks in Jetlinks. :D

Just received an email with pictures taken from Darwin at his school during Carnaval.
He's really shy, but who wouldn't when surrounded by girls. :D
I would have preferred to see his nice smile. Pity though.

Still some improvement needed, but that will come, same as for me.
    Well done Brad. ;)

Thanks Eric....and YES, some improvement definitely needed! I'd guess that you could produce a good one IF you had a nice sequence of consecutive photos all the same size/position etc? BUT, just imagine trying to get a 4-5 yo to pose for that! :D
    Brad.

I can imagine it must be really hard to have Sophie pose for that.
Maybe PSP's cloning tool can do the rest.;)

    Nice one. :)
    Finally seeing you. :D
Sophie was a bit younger there, so that helps getting pictures done. ;)
