    Regarding sync programs, I would recommend you take a look at ViceVersa Pro: http://www.tgrmn.com/. It's not inexpensive, but has quite a few options: automation features; verification bit by bit, not just by size and datestamp; and has an archive option that will move a previously synced file to an archive folder should the source file change. The archive feature has a number of options. There is a 30 day fully functional trial available.
