My friend has a shot laptop battery.

    She has a Toshiba laptop and the she has to use it using only the AC adapter. When she tries to use the battery then nothing happens. The laptop does not turn on. No green lights or anything. The battery is in the laptop when its plugged in it should be charging since its getting constant juice. She just found out about the battery in the laptop and has been using it with the AC adapter for 3 years, Shes had the laptop for about 3 years. Since its been constantly plugged in I'm pretty sure the battery is zapped. What do you guys think? What places could we go buy a good replacement one?

    My experience is thankfully limited, but I have used batteries.com a few times. Their products have been reasonably priced and worked as promised.
