My build 937 rescue disk won't boot!

I updated to build 937, and from within it made a new CD rescue disk. I rebooted with the disk in the CD drive. The screen went black, and "Starting Acronis Loader ..." showed on screen with flashing _ cursor. But after 5 minutes nothing else happened.

Thinking some Acronis file had become corrupted, I uninstalled Acronis from the computer, and downloaded/installed the entire program. Same result - rescue CD wouldn't boot.

Then I started my computer in Safe Mode, to make another rescue disk (third one, if you're counting). Same result.

It's been a very long time (several builds ago) since I needed to restore an image, or tested a rescue disk. So I don't know when things went bad. Though, I have been making images that test OK; including one with the .937 build.

Any suggestions? Computer is Dell 8400.

 

Try an earlier build rescue CD that you know used to work.
