    I wasnt entirely sure whether to post this in the Spyware or Antivirus forum, but i have just done a search with Spydoctor 2.1 and it has found this as very hight risk spyware

    C:\PROGRAM FILES\Network Associates\VirusScan\bho.dll

    Im not sure but i think this is my Mcafee enterprise.

    If so what do i do, is it spyware or not.

    Thanks

    I would suggest you take a look @ the below links concerning such products as Spydoctor and consider only using Trustworthy Anti-Spyware Products.

    This link---> Rogue/Suspect Anti-Spyware Products & Web Sites

    I don't see a spywaredoctor on the rogue list there, but even I (not exactly a Macaffee fan) know that there's no spyware there.

    Well....Spyware Doctor is a new up and coming spyware removal program. One of it's present downfalls is shown with your false positive concerning a legit Network Associates file. While it's detection process does use hashed file signatures and file properties....one of it's main downfalls is it's simple filename matching....as shown in your case. I personally will not place this on the list of spyware removal programs I recommend to family\friends....BUT....I will keep up with it's progress concerning it's future detection process and definitions database.
