    Interesting how it could easily be spotted just with basic common sense.

    They say:

    If you notice, the name of the "folder" is Helompy-gen.exe

    This could be easily spotted, had the user the option to reveal file extensions enabled. Something that Microsoft decided not to make the default value.

    IMO, the default setting to 'Hide extensions for known file types' is the most stupid option available in Windows. Always at the top of the list of things I change in PCs.
