    almost good ;)

I meant: what you see is what you write
the poster (Nevis) didn't mention a few others with a very good score like e.g. MBAM and DefenseWall

I actually don't know how they test HIPS with these kind of threats, since they have no real detection.

They just click block on all pop ups? xD

How do they handle Norton's "this file is suspicious, dont open it" bit. Does that count as a detection? Or a partial pass?

Of course I am joking. I've been running Prevx for a couple years. I thought the gawky smiling emoticons would give it away...

FYI: One of the MRG forum members maintains a spreadsheet compiling results, detections and scores with percentages.

There's one there for last year's series, too.

Prevx, Norton failure. VIPRE still at 100% for 2011.

Where is Comodo on these MRG Flash Test lists ?

With an omission like that, what credibility can we attach to such tests ?

The results of this test are very difficult. Even the most superficial testing using recent samples that can easily be found on the Internet will show different results in the case of majority of the tested software!? Also, as we all know, comparing the results of the hips and the common anti-virus software is quite pointless.

I am confident that at least half of the Wilders active members doing the same or more complex testing almost every day. So, I don't want to start an argue but cannot avoid to ask myself what's the catch with MRG Product Comparison? Do I miss something? o_O

Please learn to use the search function. Basically, they had issues with the results.

"easy to find on the web" is exactly what they are trying to avoid. If then did that then their tests would be the same as everyone else. The goal of these tests is to narrow the focus to live + dangerous only. They also pull directly from live sources so the field is leveled for everyone. I'm not sure why anyone would expect the results from broad spectrum + longer time period testing to match up here, those are 2 totally different tests.
