Does norton sonar work without internet connection?

edit : now I know sonar is a some kind of behavior blocker, I was thinking it was more like some cloud analysis :)

Disable sonar and you might notice a sudden drop in detection...

Sonar was developed (or improved) from the technologies in threatfire, but made to be much, much better. Correct me if I am wrong.

    Thanks for the update.

WOW Panda, Prevx, SAS, MBAM all got zero
Prevx and Mbam used to be so great but not on these exploits it seems.

But it was several vendors that got full score as well :thumb:

The test results will probably show by years end that some of the current leaders have fallen back to the pack.

Does anyone know if this test on-access by simply dropping the PDFs on the system or by executing the malicious PDF files?
Panda's behaviour blocker should have stopped all 4 generically if they were executed.

I think first they test it as STATIC and if not detected then they execute the samples.
