Nope, we just took a little break, the latest Flash Test will be published today;)

P.S. We are introducing a new type of Flash Tests in addition to the current ones, these Flash Tests will focus on Malware Removal.

    Regards,
    Sveta

oh yeah, Orange is partial pass, in this case it means, not detected but AutoSandboxed.

which actually should mean failed, because if you have the autosandbox on ask and dont understand what it is asking, well.:cautious:

Its what we call a Yellow pass, in Avast's case this is when we get a warning: Potentially unsafe application, recommended action: run inside sandbox.

Generally we give the Yellow pass when applications require user's input.

    Regards,
    Sveta

Say it isn't so...MBAM failed (just) it's second test. :gack:

(In all honesty, I'm very impressed with this showing (to date) and have voted with my wallet.)

Congrats to DW for continuing an unblemished record thus far. :thumb:

I wonder if OA++ would do as good as EAM does in the flash tests. Same AV-engines and but OA has a more sensitive behavior blocker... I wonder...

You forgot to mention that both Immunet and Norton got Full Pass as well. :)

Yes, but Emsisoft and DefenseWall are the ones dominating the tests so therefore I just made a note about them passing yet another test. But of course you're right my fellow-countryman!

Following ESET's products over the last two years, I definitely think they've declined from the throne. These flash tests only confirm my thoughts :(. V5 is their (ESET's) only hope to now.

Norton's behavior blocker (Sonar) nailed them all.

Although Avast detected several of the nasties, I find it interesting that Avast's behavior blocker never came into play. In fact, in all these tests I have not seen Avast's BB ever get the glory. I wonder why?

In Recent Tests, you can see Sandbox coming into the action which i guess is based on Avast BB. Avast BB is improved a lot in v6.

I'm surprised they are doing so well. When you look at AVComparatives and Virus Bulletin, their proactive and on-demand are mediocre.

I know that their Symantec product is a load of crap.
