@ trjam Which Avira product are you running? And why switch between Avira and Prevx when you could run both? :argh:

    Paid? Which one? :p

If you paid for Prevx, why leave it behind?

Agreed. We've gone way off topic, and I am guilty too.
I guess we're all waiting around for the next test to show up.

I think his question is in line with this thread, just as others. Yes, I have disputed the findings of MRG and yes, I have been shown they are accurate. No more then the member who disputes IBK when his favorite product doesnt do well in a test and then later improves and they love AV-C. Vendors do improve their products and sometimes make them worse. So LODBROK has every right to question my posts.

For testing, yes Prevx does beat Avira and who says I dumped it. I have stated this to many times, I have FD-ISR and different products in different snapshots. So I just use a different snapshot quite frequently and change my Avatar. But in reality it goes between 5 or 6 steady products that I own and like all of them.

MRG is very good at what they do and yes I want to see the ones I own do well. But that isnt always the case. Maybe I should, calm down a bit, but at least I actively use them to report on them. Vendors dont mind because I pay for the licences, so really folks, to much attention is paid to me and more shold be paid to the others here that ask the legit questions.

Does anyone know which Avast version MRG is using? I'm trying to figure out why G Data would fail a test that at least one of it's engines had a detection with..
